Leaving on a Jet Plane

Our journey to South Africa begins tomorrow. First stop: Cape Town.  The next week is going to be very fast paced between our arts camp at the JL Zwane Centre in Gugulethu and prepping for our 1st benefit concert at Pieter Toerien’s Theatre on the Bay.  There will be lots to blog about, and I personally can’t wait to see everyone’s reactions to this country that some of us have already fallen in love with.  Check back Monday as we write our first post from Africa!

And in the meantime follow the link below and check out this video from THUNK A CAPPELLA, which documents their works as The Cape Town Project.  If you don’t know, The Cape Town Project was the inspiration to start Broadway in South Africa and I am proud to have been a part of them both.  What these students are doing at Northwestern University is equally as important as what we have started in the professional world.  Plus you’ll get some insight into what BSA will be doing as well.

Until Cape Town…..
